Todays hunt.

Went to a couple of new lakes today. Both had beaches but no swimming is allowed either place anymore. First one said no metal detectors allowed in the park. Second one the guy was nice and let us detect where the beach had been. Lot of those slimey weeds and scoop holes everywhere. we found a few coins and a couple of fishing lures. We ended up at the little beach where I had found the 3 gold rings before. I got one more nice 10kt gold ring with a dark green stone in it and a small hoop silver earring. Hey Steve first time I think I have found a ring with KT for the mark. Always just a K before. Any signific difference?
Jerry got 3 silver rings and a few junkers.

You sure are racking up the gold this year ! KT is pretty common as is K - they just use K more, nothing different. Good going, Steve

Thanks for the input. If things go according plan I'll probably see you sometime the last half of September if you are going to be home. I'll bring the rings found this year if you want to take a pic for the forum as you did last year. Good luck if you make it out.
