Today's Hunt

I went hunting with my metal detector today. My gloved hands were one with the dirt. I must say that the earthworms weren't too enthusiastic! LOL! It was great exercise and I spent quality time with nature.

I didn't find a million dollar cache, but I did find a few rusty nails and a couple of other pieces of old twisted metal. Well, I guess it's time to get out of the backyard and go to the beach! I'll see ya there! [waveing]

My son and I had the same experience with the earthworms. We also didn't find much, but a 1965 Quarter and alot of nails..... PS lot of fun. :)

I think that it's wonderful that you spend quality time with your son. Keep up the good work! Congratulations on finding that quarter!

Your sentiments are how I feel when I get out. Probably most of us do.

It's a feeling that can hardly be described. If I were a scientist, I would surmise that the pleasure centers in the brain are stimulated during the hunt.

I've done a lot of things in life, but nothing compares to the experience of the hunt. I'm happy that you enjoy it too. It's quite addictive as well!
