Since I am at my sister in law's house I went to the state fair grounds in Baton Rouge today with my brother in law to see if we could find anything. I took the 505 and he took his Discovery 3300. Lots of trash, trash, trash. I found 1 quarter, 3 dimes, 4 pennies and did I mention trash. He found 4 pennies, 1 dime and more trash. In his defense, while he has a lot of detector, he really does not get out with it very often. He did well considering the area. Unbelievable amount of can slaw and pull tabs. We also found a few fake silver ear rings and other assorted fake jewelery. Had a good time til my batteries went dead. Oh well, that's my luck. Thanks for reading and Happy Hunting.

One thing about hunting an area with a lot of trash is
you probably wont have much competition there.
I have found some of my better finds at some pretty
trashy places. Not so trashy when I got done.
