I hunted a small area that I had hunted yesterday and did not fair well, but I did pick up another wheatie, for a total of 6 out of that spot. I also dug a 1988 Canadian dollar that I think they call a "Looney". I have never dug one before so it was a cool find. Thanks for looking. HH Dennis in Idaho

Great finds............again! We're reading about all the great finds of yours while watching it SNOW here. Go get em Dennis! HH to all, Nancy

Some good finds.
Against the American dollar the loonie ($1,00) is worth only .79 cent at this time.

Great finds Dennis, love the pulltabs...................

VDI was 78-79 indicating penny dime at 6 inches. Once I got it out of the hole I ran the coil over it and it indicated 25 cents. Wierd .. HH Dennis in Idaho

Being that the detectors are built in US and overseas they aren't calibrated to the Canadian coins.
For us up in igloo land were guessing most of the time.

I pulled three out of a tot lot here this summer. Two in one hunt and another one the next time I detected there. We're about 4.5 to 5 hours south of the Canadian line so it wasn't a great shock, but still, to find three of them was somewhat surprising. When I first glimpsed the gold color in the chips, I thought I was going to be pulling out one of the new US dollars.
