Have not posted up finds lately so I thought I would throw up today's finds for me and my buddy.
We headed too two places we wanted to hunt but, they did not produce much other then old wheat's and I did get a S. Silver Spoon from there. I snapped it in half by accident.
We then headed out farther to a new area and stopped by a place and we where surprised this owner gave us permission as even though it is 1800s it is pristine kept.
Turns out the lady the night prior had lost her ring which was Gold with a Sapphire in it. We offered to look for it and she said fantastic. We started looking then about 15 min later she came running out and said she had found it inside.
She was elated and we where so happy for her. She then said we could look all we wanted. The husband said his grandson liked old wheat pennies so, i told him he could have everyone I had or will find there.
My first dig was a 16 Wheat that i gave to him.
Well, the best story is my buddy got out of his silver slump as he pulled a 39 Wash. He also dug quite a few wheat's and an old buckle.
He kept the Washington and gave the owner all the rest of his finds.
Here is the keeper for my friend today.

I did pretty decent as I got a bunch of wheat's (some pictured) an old Livery Tag, a 43p War Nickel and snagged a really deep 11d Barber that is really worn.
I was able to get a picture of the coin still in the clump of dirt.
I gave away everything I found except the Silver Spoon, Livery Tag and the Barber to the owner to keep and the wheat's for his grandson. The oldest wheat's where a 16, 18 and 19
We really did not hunt this place more then 45 min. so we got permission to come back.
Here are my dig photos (barber in clump then out) and a total digs minus some of the nick knacks/trash and things i had already given the owner..
