Took my 17 yr old daughter and her Prizm 1V out with my XLT today to an early 1800's homesite. She found her oldest coin, 1826 large cent, and a suspender buckle. I found a thimble, 2 flat buttons, several square nails, and what looks like an old buckle.

A BIG congrats to your daughter's finds! That's one heck of a pretty cent. You didn't do too bad either, but it tickles me to hear about a younger person getting into detecting. Thanks for the pics and sharing.

More people ought to work at getting youthful friends and family engaged in this great sport.

Wondefull finds Sir, and a "Priceless" day with your daughter.
You and she are building life long rememberances.
