Today's hunt! :twodetecting::garrett:

My hunting buddy with our A T Pro's hit two different neighbor parks this for noon. The first gave up a few pieces of modern coinage and the marked 925 TMA silver ring. The ring was about an inch deep. No fresh from the ground shot as I had left my camera back in the car. We didn't stay at that park to long as it appeared to have a good layer of fill dirt.

The next park was just a few blocks away. A year or so ago Chris, Benny and self had detected it for an outing and knew from our results back then that it had enough age for some older coins. Benny had said at that time that he and others had hunted some over the years. Anyway, Chris and I each scored 4-5 wheats apiece and near the end of the hunt I finally got a deep 47s Roosevelt dime and a couple of curios. 1, being the silver looking band with Harold engraved on it. As we were calling it a wrap and swinging away back towards my SUV I got a screaming lock on 84 that didn't sound like a rusty bottle cap. The silver ring I dug earlier was a 83-84, so I kind of had hopes for maybe another one. From about 2" I popped 3 coins stuck together. 1, a 1919 wheat cent, 1, a 1903 I H cent and the last a 1895 2 coin of some type. Maybe someone out there may recognize it as I cannot find any wording on it.

I know a couple of Barber coins have come from the 2nd park, so we'll hit it again in the not to distant future. HH jim tn

Nice finds Jim! I haven't been out for a while since I started selling stuff on Ebay again, but I plan to get out tonight! Keep up the good work! :thumbup:

Nice finds Jim to keep us motivated. Just catching back up after a week or so away. Lucky you with the digable ground! Keep em coming !
