Had to work today at 9:00 so I figured I would hit a tot lot and a park that is near work for a couple hours before it got hot out. finds were meager but it was still fun. The grass was still wet and the ground was soft from the night watering I think that's my favorite part of the day is the mornings everything is fresh less people out and its nice and cool, DeLeon with cleansweep coil morning hunt produced.

Got out of work at 4:00 and headed straight back to the same park but south of am hunt changed the DeLeon to the stock coil for added depth plus all the digging yesterday I decided to give my knee a break ( it's hell getting old ). Finds at the park were slow coming and the I was holding the D back by not letting it loose on productive ground. It was hot and I figured if I was going to bake out there I might as well do it where my odds were better on getting something good so I headed across the street to a big empty lot that till a couple years ago was full of mobile homes. I've pulled 10 or 12 silver coins out here in the past and will usually give up some deep silver if I pay close attention. Today was no different at first it was just pennies so I moved to a stretch of grass that sat in front of a couple of homes along the main road into the mobile home park. i dug a couple of deep pennies in the 5 to 7 inch range about midway through the patch of grass the DeLeon whispered hey deep silver with a tid of 90 but just a chirp every time the coil passed over it and at 9" depth every time now I don't always believe the depth on the D but it is usually pretty close But this signal had Mercury dime all over it so I chiseled a plug out of the sun baked ground careful not to nic whatever treasure awaited the chance to be in the sunlight again. Every couple of inches I dug out I scanned nothing recheck the hole yup still there and silver signal getting stronger I'm digging with a long heavy screwdriver that is at least 9" long finally when the hole was so deep I was sure I could smell Chinese food I ran some dirt over the coil and the D rang loud and clear I opened my hand and sure enough a nice dirty Mercury dime starring at me through the dirt and I bet it was every bit of 8" deep or better Man Do I Love this machine! It just keeps giving up the nice stuff after the Merc. showed up I figured I could call it a day and be satisfied but I would dig another hole or two next few signal were pennies lost hole I dug I found a old cap gun sorry for the long story anyway here's the pm goods
