Today's hunt produces old copper

Went out for hunt in the field today and had a great time. Scored a buckle stamped "........... Patent Protean Buckle", a gilt spoon and my oldest coin to date, an 1806 British Penny. It seems to be in good shape, just needs a good soak. Thanks for looking!

Great old Copper - congrats ! :clapping:

Thanks guys! I can see every detail, but there is a crust over it. I have it soaking in olive oil, probably for a couple of months!
