Hit the fields this morning and scored the 2 silver dimes, a 36 Mercury and 60d Rosie, pretty near right off. Spent the next 4 1/2 hours searching hard for another silver dime, preferably a Barber or a Seated, but I would have taken any. Tabman showed up and we both worked the field pretty hard. He hit some keepers with his F 75 SE. If it pretty much locked on, I was digging. Got 2 I H cents, 1 a 1904 and the 2nd a 1905. They both hit 65-67 and one had some nice depth as did one of the bullets in the fresh from the ground shots. Also got 2 V nickels and both were between 4 and 5." Both were a near lock on 52. Also got 4 wheat cents, of which, 2 are toasted and setting currently in vinegar. 1, though, was a 1912d and the cut one is a 50d. A nice old coin variety made for a fun hunt. HH jim tn
