Today's Hunt, my best Find EVER! and it's not Gold

Today.... today after work I had to get out to dig some dirt on the way home, and that's exactly what I did. I didn't even find a Silver Coin, or even a Gold Coin, but I did find a Very Rare (according to the Auctioneer) 25 only known to still exist Tim Clothing Store Superman Premium Ring with the initials S T on it. :)

I'm pumped to have found such a Rare item like this and looking forward to seeing what it sell's for come auction time (yes, I am selling it). going to the beach in 2 Months, and that extra cash will come in handy :)
found a Oklahoma City Railway Token as well, Thanks for looking, Dirt Diga

Here is a Link that one Ring sold in 2005 for $975

How you gonna sell it? Ebay?
No, it won't be eBay due to privacy issues. More than likely Hakes, unless you want to trade that 1916 D straight up? ;)

What's cool about it is that it's got the same Superman image that you would have seen on say a copy of Action Comics of the same time period.

I'd contact Heritage Auctions and see what they have to say.

Thanks for the information.....Didn't know until this evening that the new Superman Movie is out, :)

No better time than now to sell, unlike sitting on a Silver Coin for decades for it to go up in value again. Makes better business sense to capitalize while the iron is hot...Silver has been dropping like a rock...but Superman Tim ring? the Superman Fanatics are out in full force right now.

You're welcome. Definitely contact Heritage as that type of item is their specialty. I used to collect comics and would always check their auctions for goodies. They have sold many famous collections.
