Hit a couple of different beaches yesterday and got nothing but clad. Went to a different beach today 1000 for an 1100 .4LT. The surf was bringing up sand onto the beach. Started with a few coins. Got a couple of hits that sounded good. Unfortunately they were right in the surf line and that sand was soft. They just kept sinking into the oblivion 
. About 1130 I redeemed myself. Got a nice low tone , but not smooth like a ring. Dug in with my scoop, and as I brought it out, I could see gold chain hanging out the side of the scoop, just as a wave came crashing in on me. I grabbed it and held on. Out comes a 24" 14k Italian link chain with a Christ figure. It sure made my day. Said my thank you's. Stayed until 1230. Got some more clad and a junker earring. $2.38 in clad for the two days. All and all a good day.... 14.5g at $700.10.... 190.40 for 2.5 hours.... I'll take it!!!
