Headed back to a place I have not hunted in maybe 6 years or so. Last time I was there I found a seated dime which has been the most significant find there.
Well, today was nice around 80 degrees with a light breeze and boy it was nicer then the last few days for sure.
I new the place was turn of the century but, doing some mapping I found there used to be a house there earlier.
Exactly where on the property I cannot tell for sure but, I have an idea roughly.
I dug quit a few small copper rim-fire cartridges hoping to get a goody but, it did not turn out that way. Even some bullets ( I think one is pictured).
I think I might have got all the IHs that are easy to get out of here from the past but, who knows its a big place and I am sure I have missed some.
My first couple of digs where a old buckle, and a 43 Aus.Half Penny, then within feet i dug a 41 George 6 Half Pence.
What odd finds but, oh well. When I first saw the Pence I thought at first it was a token until I gave here some face juice.
Here are my first three digs.

My next digs where much better as I moved around a little and hit areas I had not hit hard in the past.
My great (lucky) coin of the day was a 48 Seated Half Dime. It is worn pretty darn thin for sure. It was actually really soft hit but, a hit most would have dug for sure..
Then I got another great easy signal but, darn it just happened to right under this nice giant root. I am sure digging a lot of coins under roots lately. :crylol:
After I got this one out it looked like a baby groundhog entrance before re-filling the hole and re-plugging it
I almost did not feel like going after it as I was getting tired but, figured it could be something else really old.
Well, it turned out to be a 41 Merc. well at-least it was another silver.
I also dug two wheat's a 10 and 18.
Here are the others with a keepers pic for the day There two shotgun paper shell caps in pic also along with a Veterans Tag return postage tag.
