Today's hunt gives me a copper trifecta with an 1820.

Got out today with my hunting buddy this morning. It ended up being a beautiful day in the mid 60s with super soft soil with all the recent we have had.
We where trying to remember a place we had hunted two years prior but, somehow forgot where the road we needed to turn was so, we ended up at another spot new to us.
The home was supposedly built in the 1890s.
Right off the bat we started digging old Wheaties so, we knew we where at a good spot. My first keeper turned out to be a 05 Indian. Then a lil later on between digging wheat's and junk I dug what turned out to be a 20 Merc (you can see it peeking out off the plug in the photo with the darker soil)..
The big surprise came when I got a deep high right. I was expecting an old silver quarter but, was surprised to dig a coronet LC. She is dated 1820. Wohooo copper trifecta day.
I ended up the day with 7 wheat's the oldest was 17s,20 Merc,1820 LC, a flattie, a lead seal (I think) and the 05 IH plus plenty of junk not pictured.

Funny story about the photo of the wheat stuck to the back of my lesche. I was digging a good signal and was really sounding off on the x1 then after digging some more the signal disappeared.
My buddy was sitting right next to me watching and I was like where the heck dig my signal go. He laughed and pointed to my lesche. I thought it was so funny being stuck to the back of it. I don't think that has ever happened in 34+ years to me.

The photos are my finds as I forgot to get my buddies digs. He found a bunch of wheat's and a really nice large flattie.
The owners where super nice and said we could return anytime, so we are heading back next weekend for sure.
Thanks for looking and HH everyone.
