Went back to a place that has rewarded me some silver in the past. Although today this place treated me very kind as I set out upon an area I had not been and my very first dig was the 1887 Seated Dime.
Junk is usually always first on the faint iffy digs and it fealt great to pull this one right off the bat.
The sunshine was great if only there had been no wind as it was really whowling.
It made it difficult at times to hear as I would get the air through the headphones cups.
I was not able to get anymore silver but, I did manage a old back-marked one piece, a 17 wheat, bridle piece, s.g cap, the usual harmonica reed piece and a spent bullet.
If I get reeds I know I am in the right spot.
Not a bad day in my book. Then on the way home I stopped and talked to a man I know and chatted over some history and about his land.
Fun day all around.
Here are the digs that where keepers.

Here are the total digs minus the junk (even though the reed and cap are).
