todays hunt , a few keepers

found a 1943 merc. 20d wheatie and an old token from my town , from about 1890 and a bent wheatie
 
That is a good era were there would be more coins than say if you were finding older coins. All ages had some loose change to loose, but in the older times few carried coins around. So hit it hard and hope not too many have detected the site. Hey, maybe one of the wheats will be a key date and put some green backs in your pocket. Tokens are a nice surprise too......Way to go Daveo!
 
Love them things. You don't find them that often and some of them are worth more than the Old Coins that a person finds. Not a bad outing at all. Good Luck and HH.:detecting:
