Todays Hunt 4-23-06

I got out for another hunt today I went to another school. I hunted the playground woodchips areas. I found some clad, a junk ear ring, a small silver charm and a Ruby Ring that is marked 10k. Pics are of the finds and a close up of the ring. Thanks for looking.

Hey Dirtfishin In Carolina, I don't know for sure, and I'm not trying to rain on your parade! But, I think you stoned ring is a GARNET, and Not A RUBY!! RUBIES are very valuable, and I would think they would be in a higher Gold Content Ring. A jeweler could tell you for sure. I thought I had found a Ruby 10kt, Ring with (2) Diamonds, but a jeweler advised that it was a GARNET. For your benefit, I hope it is a RUBY!! HH
