...about an unusual screw-cap i found in january. normally i throw screw-caps away without even cleaning them, but this one caught my eye because i noticed it had low patent numbers embossed into it. the higher number, 1,875,431, was issued in 1932 (the year before prohibition was repealed!). here's some info on the company: national distillers. so, even aluminum can be interesting sometimes!
