I went out for about an hour and a half. Found some coins, a gold rind(14K) and my first wheatie(1944 D). Had a great time out today. Thanks for all the help. Joe
 
Pretty low key post for such a nice find. Shoot, I didn't even hear you whooping it up. How about a close up?

Looks like 14K to me ~ Sweeeeeet. And the cent is about new... too nice to have been buried Must be a recent drop, which is not as odd as you might think. I've found several that way, one was brand new. I suspect kids get them from someones collection and take off with them, then lose them. Heck, I ran across two yesterday in a change cup.
