New member
Got out from 2:30 till dark with new member here, arjim, this afternoon. Found some good bullets and Jim found 3 wheat pennies, all 1919's. We each found a chewed bullet and Jim also found two ringtail sharps bullets. Had a great time even tho it was a little cooler than yesterday. That Xterra 50 of Jim's is one bullet findin sonofagun, dang that thing is hot. Thanks for looking.

Thanks fellas. Those two chewed bullets in the middle amaze me. They must have been bored or hurtin to chew on them things!! I think these are the bored ones tho, I can picture them just wallering around in their jaw to keep them cylindrical like that, I could imagine what it would look like if someone was diggin another bullet out of their leg with a hot pocket knife!!

looks great to me

Hey, Old Sox, great find! I feel sorry for the guys that chewed on those bullets, though. After I came back from overseas, the V.A. doctors cut a cancer out of my left leg. Unfortunately, they couldn't properly deaden my leg with painkillers. And, what's worse, they didn't have anything for me to bite down on. So, I had to grit my teeth through the operation. Boy, it sure felt good, too - after it quit hurting! So far, the only Civil War bullet I have found is a round ball. Maybe one of these days, I'll finally find a minie. Good luck to you in your future searching!

I love finding them Old Bullets from long ago. Just wish they could talk and tell the story of how they ended up being there and what was going on at that moment. Hope the Luck continues for you fella's. Good Luck and HH.:twodetecting:
