Today's finds

Went to an old homesite that dates back into the 1800's and searched around for about 4 hours.
Dug just about every signal and came up with some interesting things.
Found tons of shotgun shells although not pictured below.
I found an1888 indian head penny and some sort of coin that has a hole through it. It looks like the hole was punched and not made into the object. Can't see much detail other than a profile of a woman on the front and what looks like a part of a wreath on the back. There is some writing around the perimeter on the front, but I can't make it out. Anybody have any ideas? It is only 5/8 in diameter.
Also does anyone know what the object is at the end of the spoon? My guess is some sort of grommet.
The other object on the upper left hand side is a mystery also. It is lead and has a hole going from one side to the other.
Looks like some kind of seal. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Sure looks like you have found a CW camp site. The object at the end of the spoon was part of a parasol (umbrella). The spoon itself also looks to be Union Army issue. Great finds and keep pounding that site!

Did you use your Vaquero?

The woman on the coin is Queen Victoria of England (and the rest of the British Empire). That is the "young head" style. Looks like it is a Canadian Large Cent.

I looked that coin up, but it is somewhat larger than the one I have. My coin is only 5/8" whereas the canadian cent is 1".
It looks more like a dime to me, but I can't make out much detail.
Thanks for the reply and help.

Nice finds, I agree the grommet things are from an umbrella. I found some at an old site. The hem weight and spoon are cool. I would hit that site as much as possible it looks promising.
