Some meager finds from today , 4 wheaties , 1917,30 41 52, old rusty pocket knives , a locket of some kind i think. an old thermometer and a kids buggy wheel i think, the picture of the civil war badge is for frontierwest , he wanted to see it , his ggg grandfather may have been in that regiment . thanks for looking.

picture for me....I'll pass the civil war history to you via private email. He first enlisted in the 12th Iowa, being underage was forced by his father to get out...then becomming of age, enlisted in the 27th Iowa sometime in 1861, mustering out in Baton Rogue, LA June 7th 1865.

SOrry it was not from the same unit as your pin...but pretty close!

I found the entire history, but do not have the digital copy anymore.
