I did not see were to place this so I decided here looked good. I found all of this with my Eagle SL 90 II detector I am selling. Really cool old Army button of some kind, silver broch (looks like a teapot), gold nugget pendant, intial lighter, some sort of old round piece of metal (maybe horse related???) & 4.63 in clad including 2 silver dimes & a sac dollar =) Anyone know how old & what exactly that US button is?

hi, looks like one of those civil war era buttons with US on it...would have been Union....any chance of it being something like that considering where you found it?

It looks like the brass US insignia worn even today on the Army Class A uniform.

from the 1960's . It was worn on the side of an army cunt cap very common ...here is one I found ....
