Thanks, Try just along the shore 6' - 15' out.
It's a little bit more work - but alot less trash - if the climate allows??
I just purchased the Excal 1000-Now were in business.
Heading to the river for easter 12th - 18th.

If my memory is serving me right, Gerber has lifetime warranty on all of their knives. Might want to send it in and get a brand new one.
