The button is a Leavenworth & Kendrick "treble gilt" they were made in the 1830's which pre-dates the property according to the census. This particular house lot I could only trace back to an 1860 census when my ancestors were listed..now I'm thinking maybe they were there before that lol
The blue mosaic rectangle is plastic...it fell out so I cleaned the groove out, threw some elmers glue down and reset it in place.
Gotta find a way to clean my buttons this winter and make a display case for them.
