Got out after work and hit the dirt about 5:15 this evening...Only had one Crusty Wheatback when the sun went down at 7:30.
Decided I would stay until I got a silver so I turned on the Display Light and at exactly 830 tonight a Lonely 1907-O Barber Dime
found it's way into my pocket...

persistance paid off...nice one!

Well earned! Thanks for the pictures and story Doug.

Hey Mark.
Most of those coins I'm finding came out of one particular spot! I've been running into different
color soil there indicating Fill in other places...Should be more as you say but will have to work
for the other's that are laying in with the Iron from you know what....

Excellent finds !

Funny thing ... I found a 1907 with a "O" mint mark - in similar condition last weekend in a bean field.

You're killing it digging up those Barbers! :clapping:
Thats a nice one too!

Most of the Silver dimes recovered are Barber...Once in a while a seated will pop up! Once in a Great While
a Merc will come to light as well...Love those Barbers though! I'm looking forward to that Barber Half to show itself.
Think I'll stick that Wot 15"back on the next time I get out and check out a different spot! I'm just not ready yet to
put the X-5 on and wade through the iron at what is most likely a very good spot!
