Well my friend wader mike and I went to a different beach today, Instow. Mike did well and found an old silver six pence coin, I found
 
Good on the silver! Man, with all those old coins, theres gotta be at least one gold chain or ring down in there! Good job!

The pre decimals have been in the tumbler for a spin, most were much greener and encrusted

Thank you OBN, I bumped into another detectorist who said he hadnt found much, but he had been told by a local detectorist that there had been a few lead soldiers recovered from the beach cut along with pre decimal coins....I walked along following him, digging up the signals he had missed, maybe he hadnt turned his machine on, it wasnt a minelab lol, I was digging loads!! just gotta love the BBS technology :minelab: ...and out popped this guy, intact as well, normally they have limbs missing :bouncy:
