Most of the older coins are well worn or toasted, can't read the dates on

some of them, two pre 1947 Silver Shillings, one Victorian Halfpenny, one

George V Penny 1919, Modern Fifty and Two Pence Pieces, some Buttons

and a Medallion of some sort, and a brass Threepenny Bit.

Thanks for Looking and Take Care.

Les :ukflag:

I also dug lots of small Lead, Brass, and some very deep Iron.

Great mix, Leslie! I can relate to the deep iron, I must have dug 2' down in a creek yesterday, hoping for a cannon ball or cooking pot, but it was an old engine block :stars:

Thanks Guys, and yes William ,the Deep Iron sounds exactly like our older

large silver coins ( Florins and Half Crowns ) so you never know unless you

dig it.

H H Everyone and Take Care
