Today's finds

My buddy and I detected around two old homesites today and found a few goodies.
The first house is probably early 1900's and we found two wheat pennies.. 1910 and 1920 and a couple of buttons.
I thought I had found an eagle button, but after cleaning it looks more modern to me. I have not seen this type of design on a military button before.
We then decided to try another home site just a short walk from this one and it looks more promising.
I got one side of an old powder flask and a small eagle cuff button and my buddy got this nice 1853 seated half dime.
There is much iron around the site, but I think it might be worth the effort after what we found in there today after a short hunt.
I'll get photos of the site next time I go there.
The chimney had three fireplace in it. One in the cellar, one on the main floor and a small one in the attic.
Kind of strange to find one like this... at least I've never seen one like this.
