Today I was given permission to detect the lawn at a local church. I just hunted one side of the church, but I was able to pick up some clad, a junk ring and a Cub Scout scarf slide, the third one I have found this week. I think the MXT/10x12 SEF did quite well today. HH Dennis in Idaho

Not only the coil did well, but so did you. Is the church very old? If so, you'll have a hay day there...again and again.:please: Sure glad you can get out and detect before Winter hits. HH to all, Nancy

The church is not very old. Built in the 70's I would think. I talked with a guy during my hunt and he said he had detected the church yard many times and never found anything old. I know winter is just around the corner so I am doing as many hunts as possible, before I have to put my detector in the closet. HH Dennis in Idaho

Even if the church isn't very old, you could still come across items that the other guy didn't find. Who knows what was there before the church was built. Getting permission to do that church, you might have opened doors to many other churches in the area. NICE! We wish you many open doors! HH to all, Nancy
