Todays finds with the small coil...

JOE in MD

I went back to the spot I was at last weekend, but this time I went in with the 5 X 8 coil. Sniffed out 2"V" nickels(1910 & 1912), 1 Indian Head( 1906), 1 Old ring(gold gilted), and a neat Serling piece.

Great hunt, Joe! Nice old coins and jewelry.

Joe - I've got a feeling that the 5 x 8 might end up being your "go to" coil. My stock coil has been collecting dust ever since I made the switch. That small coil hits all targets harder then the stock one in my test garden at a fraction of the weight.
