Found my first civil war bullets today.[attachment 27046 bullets2.jpg]Man this has been my weekend.[attachment 27051 parkfinds.jpg]Fridays finds were a silver cross,a wheat penny,my (1st) V nickel ,[attachment 27048 1stmercurydime.jpg] my (1st) mercury dime,and finding out the info about the stage coach line that ran through there.[attachment 27050 gooddayatapark.jpg]Then there are todays finds.I decided to do some relic hunting on my nephews proprety.I have heard of the battles fought around there and thought i would give it a shot.I only had a hour or so ,but it worked I found 2 pistol shot and 1 flatened bullet, and 1 in perfect shape.By the way the copper bullet in the pic is a modern day 45 cal ,I just put it in the pic to show the differances.[attachment 27047 oldandnew.jpg]Then I found a 1920,s schraders and sons tire air pressure guage it says made for firestone.[attachment 27053 tireguageandbullets.jpg] Not to bad for 2 hunts.These are my favorites from this weekend.Now I think I really am hooked.
