Todays finds- Thought it was about time to post here.... :fisher:

Hello everyone! I usually post over on the Beach & Water Forums, but since I only hunt the beaches in the Winter and spend the rest of my time detecting Cellar Holes and Fields, I decided it was about time to drop in and join the community.

I have been hunting exclusively with the 1236-X2 for about 3 years now and for a mid-priced detector without a lot of bells & whistles I have to say that it has been very good to me. I am also lucky to have a lot of great places to hunt and have amassed quite a collection in those 3 years. I usually prefer relics, but I'll take the coins when they pop up as well.

Below are my finds for today from a hunt around a new field. Large Cent appears to be 1837 and is a little crusty... needs a good soak in Olive Oil before I can be 100% positive.

King George III Copper appears to be 1776, but like the Large Cent, it needs a good Olive Oil bath. Don't want to rush the process. The condition is actually better that the photo shows and it should clean up nicely.

The rest of my finds. 1936 Wheatie and a key with St. Christophers medalion attached to it. I bet whoever lost it was pretty bummed.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my finds... I hope you enjoyed looking at them as much as I love looking at everyone elses.
