Todays finds . My usual

INCH

New member
Better than siitin around on my butt when the weather or not permits . Alot of brass an copper stuff.I detected A limestone parking lot with about a dollar in change . Then a clay dirt ball field with another dollar or so in change. Then to a vacant lot for about another hour and some more goodies About a half a day of love and hate , but nothing special ,except for the fact that I could find stuff in the ground
and bring it out for observe. I really want to find some good stuff to post here(old coins , cool relics ,) but U have to take what it gives U and carry on , but u never know if u keep at it , u can find something that will give U a heartattack, or the rush you cant explain. Anyway today sucked , but I loved it.

If any of U guys new to the hobby find yourself bored and nowhere to hunt , go to a gravel , shell , rock parking lot and surface hunt , Especially a bar or sportsfield, thats where the people get out of their cars in a hurry. I have hunted a few church parkin lots , but the finds are less, because nobody is rushing into to church on sundays .This is old news to most of u hunters, but for someone wanting to find some coins and U are thinking about a place to hunt some coins , "The Propointer And the Ace 250 and parking lots are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$"

That a excellent hunt :clapping: You keep it up and you will find some good things, That's more than I find most of the time. You got to eat a meatloaf sandwich to find good stuff

72 inchkid good days hunting. Here's a tip for clad, sometimes allot of it. Try your surrounding high school stadiums. Most around here let the public in to jog, walk etc. Early on non school days hunt the grassy areas around the stands, high areas where overflow crowds stand are great. The nicer the stadium the more booty. Stay off the playing area & leave no holes. Take something to put trash in to stay in good graces.

Yeah had my eye on a few high school stadiums , two yesterday but the gates were locked. One thing I forgot to mention for someone who is just starting detecting , suface hunting parking lots is fun for clad, and U can really practice pinpointing. 90 % of the time its a coin U dont have to dig deep.. Most people dont care for the new coins , but I need a place to hunt and my pinpointing is a heck of lot better than a few months ago.

Good Job my friend........I have been doing a Marina parking lot......It's hard going in spots..........Others not so bad.....ICE........Some things will have to wait till spring.....They are down there locked in in rocks and ice.......But I enjoy it all...Parking lot coins look the worst don't they.......NO RESPECT......WTG!!!
