Hi all i thought i had posted this once but couldn't find it in the forum so i decided to do it again. I found these today "yes a ring too" nothing to scream about but still exciting as it's my first one. Some money there and the silver ring but no stamp so i guess it's junk but i am still happy it's a start hey.

How did that make you feel when you scooped the ring up? What a rush huh? The ring got any weight to it? Some clad as a bonus, I like it!Maybe stainless, which I am seeing more of on the forum. You are running a Wader right? Huntress has 1 of those. I will get her the PI next. Then she's covered. Good luck thirdbornau and keep us posted. GH

Thanks guys it's really nice you acknowledged my finds i get a bit sad when nobody listens. I'll tell you what a feeling it is to find a ring (flippin great) it doesn't take much to make me smile. I was on a very quiet beach as i am still a bit shy being around the people yet, know what i mean i think it's a starter thing it will pass i hope, i almost feel guilty when searching then i told myself i am doing a service here i brought home all my junk and dumped it at home in the bin and some things were real nasty, metal, hooks and the likes.

We have some really good beaches close by and believe it or not lots of people stop and ask what we are doing they don't even know what a detector is? they are gob smacked that one can find things with it.:yikes:

Happy :twodetecting: Maureen.

Almost forgot to mention i have expl 2 not a water machine.

thread-thin line connecting both areas that were cut out? If so, I have a similar ring, but with a different design. These are cut with a thread-thin, high-power laser that cuts both sides at once. The one I have is stainless steel. Bummer! It gave such a great signal, though it was white gold when I saw it in my scoop, but when I picked it up, I knew it was junk, as it had no weight to it.

Good to see you're clearing out the junk as well. You might want to take a board or a piece of cardboard, and glue some of the nastier stuff, like fish hooks, shredded cans, broken glass, etc., to the board. Then, if someone gives you grief, you can show them the things that you remove from the sand.

That ring might be titanium. I found one cut with crosses. The cuts feel a little sharp to the touch. One I found had the "Raiders" football team logo on it, and I found it on the Internet for sale at Zales jewelry stores for $89! Keep up the good work.

Hi Maureen,
That's a good start, I think you'll find your ring is stainless steel, it has been laser cut & would have originally had the piece to fit the cutout, I found one myself & it's one of my favourites!
Have a look at this website & see if you can match it up?

Keep up the good work!

Hi Marty thank you,

I went into that site but didn't find the ring i have but i guess they were near enough to what i have anyway, the guys were right i think it's a cheapy but they seem to be very desireable for some reason at least according to the testimonials.

Regards Maureen..
