Well Kevin wanted to go play because we had this day planned so I decided to dive and look for more old bottles. After about 2/3 rds of a tank I started feeling through the silt on the bottom and when I touched something I brought it up. Well the boat anchors were easy to find because the top part was sticking out of the silt BUT this one find REALLY shocked me!!! I touched it and brought it out of the silt and I was a HAPPY camper!!! A civil war bayonette!! Its bent at the end but I don't care. Kevin is all shades of green with envy!! The fishing reel might be brass. The two glasses were together and the bottle in front of the bayonette is a Fago. An old critter Fago at that. Enjoy the pic!!! Kevin is still drooling.

My civil war rifle is there somewhere in the silt!! Will find it one day.

I did send out my poor drowned detector today. First Texas will get it on Wend. I hope to get it back within two weeks. Felix said 7 - 10 business days. I just might be buying another one in the meantime. LOL going through withdrawls already!!

So....you were just guzzling along the bottom feeling around in the silt like a walrus tusking for clams? No detector? Location Location Location!
