This is the last place I hunted and it's where I found these keepers! I have pulled some indians and large pennies from this site a couple years back!

Wow Mike. Those are some great finds. About the dollar, thats an aw-some find. I like the seated dime as well. The back looks worn off. I wonder how that happens. I mean, just on one half of the coin. I found one like that last year. I understand how it happens on copper coins, but Silver? I hope someone can answer that one. Your having a great year so far, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your posts. great finds as always

Tom

I've found coins like that where one side is more worn than other, and chalked it up to ground conditions. But maybe the old timers who had these coins used them as worry stones and kept rubbing one side
of coin with their thumbs? *L* Who knows?

The end of the day was getting near and I thought I would be going home empty handed. But got lucky and found a few keepers thank god :)

We've all had those day where you couldn't buy silver to save your life! Then there's days that seem to make up for it... usually. It looks like you didn't luck into that place being it's private property. But, took the time to ask around and get permission. That's says something about your desire to get old coins. Sometimes the BS to get permission is a pain. But, seeing real big old silver like that gets me pumped up even from your pictures!

Nice trio there Mike...........:) I would trade my silver dollar for a seated coin. There has to be one out there someplace with my name on it.........:) HH.

Nice Silver Dollar! That one is in great shape and must have been lost after a short time in circulation. WTG!!!!

Nice Seated dime you got there. They are sure hard to find around here and especially that old. Outstanding finds Mike K.(Ohio).
