Went back to the spot we hit last week and I got the 1804 Half cent. Today I got a Copper, Pewter round button, a silver button and my buddy got a 1805 Half Cent. I did find a coin drop and thought it was going to be a good one, turned out to be clads!!

I'm doing a little bragging here. White's e-mail last week and my story made it to their stories web site!!! I found a Confederate Calvary "C: Rosette back in October with my MXT and sent them my story.

Nice finds Joe. WTG. I can assume those older "colonial sites" have been doing you right. Since white's is going to use your story, they're gonna send you a $100 gift certificate. I was lucky enough to find a gold class ring from '76 and was able to return it to the owner around Xmas. I sent the story in too and White's is currently running the story on their website. thanks for your post. That 1804 1/2 cent is very impressive. Good luck. CCH

Yes, White's sent me a gift certifcate for the story. I have had 4 stories posted since I started detecting. One they had to send me something!!! check out my ARM!! LOL If you look close you can see "MXT" on the detector.
