Got away from relic and old coin hunting today and took my daughter tecting. She found a few clad and a couple toy cars and had already put them up before I could get pics. I found the enclosed items at a local school. $4.46 in clad. The necklace(?) is plastic. The button is the size of a nickel and some kind of metal. Don't know what it is off of. The truck is a Ford F150 (should've been a Chevy).

Nice finds...i think of it this way finding $4 in clad say 80 times a year...Hmm let me see... 80 x 4 ====$320!:yikes: Think of it that way

Here is my 17yr old daughter and her finds for today. She's still learning. Using a Prizm IV. Looking forward to another trip with her.

On getting your daughter to go detecting with you.My 13 year old son still thinks its boring, but one day he'll be older and might get interested in this wholesome and fun hobby, but I will have gotten all the finds by then HA HA. HH Good Luck Richard A S. LA. :beers:

Great pictures Sonny. Looking at the background, I would say you and your daughter have a lot of good areas to search. Just got to watch out for the chiggers.....Rick

Her pic was taken in our yard. Several hundred acres open farmland behind and in front on my house. Been finding IH's in our yard.

Makes me homesick. I was born in Richmond and lived in Irvine until I was 7. Been in Ca. since 1959. Now and then we vacation in Ky. and find some nice old coins....Rick
