Well today is my Friday and was checking out some areas that was passed on to me! Got lucky and hit a few keepers

This was the take for about an hour of detecting. The merc was a 45S, No date on the 3 cent just a 18?? and the wheaties were 45,46D,51D

Nice 3-cent piece. I have never found one of those yet and is one of the coins I would love to find. Not bad for about an hour of your time, just too bad no date on the 3-center. Better luck next time.

I'll take III cent piece any day, have only dug a few of them in all my years of detecting and only four 20 cent coins.
Rare as hens teeth, for me anyway
