First time out in about a month. One of my better wheat days. Thought I had a good wheatie 1909s cant see the VDB oh well maybe next time.

Great hunt!!! I found (2) 1909 wheats yesterday, one was a VDB but no "S". Maybe you can scrape the VDB from mine and put it to yours!!! Still a nice semi key date you found!!
 
Starting to cool off now, had some nights in the 20's. My MDing is almost done till spring. I figure I got about 3 weeks left.
 
You probably won't believe this, but last year we detected every Saturday,except maybe 2 or 3 times all winter long. Even under the snow, we could still dig. I guess we are just nuts:wacko: Some how in western Mass we got away with it! I got this bad feeling that, NOT THIS WINTER we don't! It looks like a snowy one is coming!!
