Todays Find, Foreign Coin

At a local park today that we have found 4 Mercs, and several wheats in the past week or so. No luck today for silver, but I pulled 11 wheat pennies, 12 Linc's, and this 1 Peseta. The peseta was covered in all kinds of crud! I soaked it and removed so much stuff by using a bamboo scourer to pull dirt off it. It has cleaned up pretty nice.

I have had in my hands a number of Peseta's when I was visiting Spain while in the USN but don't think I had one that old. Nice Spanish Coin.
 
Thanks guys. Yeah it was a surprise Mike, but didn't know it until I got home. The thing was so encrusted with stuff I couldn't see a thing on it. I should have taken a before and after shot.
