Today's Find 1842 Kreuzer. :detecting:

Nice looking Foriegn Coin. Where and how deep was it? Great find and I am sure there is more where that came from. Good Luck and HH.

Thanks James :) I found it in a town close to Heidelberg.

It was about 6" deep i was using the 8" FBS coil...it's a copper coin,
but it was the only coin I found Today (four hours) the rest was what looks like the ends of old shotgun shells??? not sure still researching.

Anyway it made my day :)

Thanks

Steve

After all we all like to see others finds and it's nice to have photo's like these.

Steve, Are there any restrictions on metal detecting in Germany that a visitor to your country should know about? Cory

Cory,

It is different for every State...I just know that you can't detect on known archaeological sites, but you can detect around them. On private land you must ask the owner and on public land just make sure to fill in the holes :)

I am an American working here in Germany and there are no restrictions on the Military Posts/Bases, some of them dating back to WW I.
