cot out to the frm feild , just thousands of mosquitoes, In order to keep them away i have to wear long leevs & gloves, and a bug net over my head I am covering a low spot that you see me pointing to , almost no signals , Very sparse for shire, well going along I got a loud signal and i knew it was big Iron as i could lift the bliss over 12" off the grand and still get it just the tip was at 10" deep and it was pointing down , this is sandy clay loam no stones, I can only deduce that he plowed early in the spring and hit a patch of frost and broke it off it weighs about 20 pounds and you can see the other bits next to it I found today , the keys are for comparison only .

That my friend is one large piece of Iron. Head on over towards the water and hunt the sides. Also, look for huge shade trees / boulders and check around them. Yes, those pesky mosquitoes will surely shorten any hunt good or bad.

Walk up to the high ground and look for flakes of flint. If you see any, look it over good; you'll probably find some stone artifacts.
