Today's early morning hunt nets me another biggie.

I got out really early this morning with my hunting buddy.
We had hit a few spots yesterday and gained permission to come back.
Well, today at the first house it did not really net me anything special.
I did get the concaved one piece back-marked button there though.
Then we went to another house we can hunt and did decent for the short time we where there.
It has produced some prior smaller silvers and IHs but, nothing big.
Well, my first dig was a Bus Token in the hole with a wheat. I then got another wheat.
Then I got a 1930s Cracker Jack (Mystery Club) token. Then a few feet away I got a old kid Junior Police Badge.
But, the big surprise for me today was as I was walking under this tree that is large and would offer good shade I got a screamer.
Well, it was a Walking Liberty Half. It makes number 2 for 2012 so far.
My buddy did quite well a he found some coins and an old Token.but, we are unsure exactly of its origins. He also got an old Gold plated copper Locket.
Well here are my digs from this morning.

Here is my big Silver and only silver of the day.

The funny but, kinda disappointing thing was my buddy had walked within a foot or two of this coin. He did not swing over it as you had to duck under the tree limbs. You can see some of the low hanging braches in the top left of the middle below pic.
I got lucky cause I seem to walk under these things and pull my headphones off all the time.
I really wished he would have dug it though as though he does find quite a bit he has been in a silver slump the last few hunts. But, then again I keep telling him about his hunt earlier this year he got a hand-full of Silver from one hole. .
Below left my buddy is holding the Walker after coming oer to check it out. Then my buddy heading back over to the area near the big tree with low branches. Then a total digs for my morning (minus the junk).

Oh WTF .. I think it's time to hang this hobby out to dry .. sheesh.

Must be nice to have an endless supply of silver coins to find ..

Great finds as always ... I could never be so lucky.

Great hunt Mike. I'm not worried about you buddy though. Persistence is the sure-fire remedy to a silver drought. Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. I've learned that time and time again. Team hunting is the only hunting I really enjoy anymore. JJ

It has been a while since I found one. Good going and nice find!
