The storms held off and I was able to detect a few schools today. Dug 39 coins, a Sacky dollar coin, junk jewelry and a silver Roosevelt.

Here's the Sacky, the silver dime and a junk ring that had me going. Looked like 18 K and was about 7 inches down. Also got this foreign coin, Steve in so az

Nice finds. I bet the roosevelt had your heart pumping too.

Good finds! Congrats on the silver Rosie

Well, the ground is like concrete; everything is frozen solid. I tried the beach today for the low tide. It was about 25 degrees but there was no wind and the ocean was so calm! No waves at all. Unfortunately, everything is sanded in big time. Just a lot of junk (can slaw it's called) a penny, a dime and a quarter. Pretty bleak :( Just need a good storm to push some of this sand out. I'll keep waiting.

You wouldn't have liked it out there yesterday. 50+mph winds and wind chills in the single digits. I only lasted about 30 minutes. I could barely walk and swing my detector, that's how hard the wind was blowing! I thought of you

WTG on the silver dime! You are ahead of me on silver coins for the year! :)

it will be April before I can dig here! Might have to make a road trip! :)
