Went out digging today with Mike. Thank you and Timmy for the invite. Started the day off with an odd bullet (top right) I am measuring it now and will address it in detail in another post. Also managed a few dropped and fired and a flat button. The spur was quite a surprise. It is the 1st one I have dug so I don't know much about IDing them. I could not find any markings on it and best I can tell it is Federal model 1859. This was my 1st trip out since getting back and boy did it feel GOOD. I can't wait to get back out!

If you think the spur is in bad shape, what did the guys foot look like that was wearing it? <img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin">
