Got out for awhile with John Lowe, Ed and Bob. Hunted on of Ed's spots first thing this morning. Dug a few bullets, and the last target I dug before moving on was my first Rhode Island coat button :biggrin
Should have stayed put, only got 2 bullets off of the second site.

Did you ever find out anything on that "long" looking Gardner? I still can't believe that button cleaned up so nice. Good Job.

wish i could have stayed longer.Did you guys check out the woods. I need to know what you guys think about that site.what was there? i havent had a chance to research the area.
does the button have a good BM? is it pre war also?

It was really nice meeting you guys Sunday. That RI button cleaned up really well!! I did not find much at that site. I'll post what I did find later. I hope we run into each other again in the near future. Again, great finds!

That site needs more tectin attention, that's for sure :) John scoped out the woods, I ended up playing in the dirt up top :) Will send you an e-mail in the next few days on what I found out about that spot :biggrin
