Got an early start on the heat this morn - dug 86 coins and some junk jewelry. Question = what's up with all the steel balls I have been digging this last year or more ? Must be some trend with the kids going on. Steve in so az

are there any markings on the balls? They sure look like the balls that go with my Pachinko(sp?) pinball machine. Just a guesss.

do they have a small hole in them?

rust spots. Almost all come out perfectly clear tho. Someone on another forum showed a pic of a toy setup that is popular and probably where they come from. It has magnetic sticks that hold the balls together in designs. steve
