I spent about 7 hours today detecting some places. Dont believe I could have done that before my heart operation last summer. I ended up with 284 coins, 20 nickels, 32 quarters, 53 dimes & 2 Sackies.

And here's the 2 Sackies, a mood ring, a junk ring that sure looked like silver and 2 statues from a game of some kind. What a day digging I had, hope you all get out soon as Spring officially is here in 2 days, Steve in so az

From the land of the Bluenose...wowzer me bouy do you realize how many times you were up and down? That is just an awesome amount of coins for a dig. Lord love a duck!

those kind of days in the past but not in the last 3-4 years! Finds are getting really scarcer as too many MD'ers out there hitting the same areas!
By the way, what kind of a detector do you have and do you use an electronic probe?
Those Minelabs? are really fantastic detectors from what I hear and read!
God Bless!

You are truely the "Man from Clad" <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
I can't believe it's even possible to dig up that many coins in one day. I know somebody's going to sleep like a baby tonight! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Geez, you must be well over 2,000 clad for the year by now!!! I just feel sorry for the poor slob who decides to hunt a place you've already been <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
Man, I can't wait to hunt with you in June (or should I say watch the master <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> )
Peace!
Joe

I have used a Fisher 1266 XB for the last 11 years - had a 1265 X for 10 years before that ( almost identical). All sounds - no readout. I dont use a probe as I go a lot faster without one. I have been out with guys using one and they are looking for the coin and I'm on another one. I just grab the dirt and wave it over the coil till I find it. Steve

I sure will sleep well tonight. I'm not too far from 3,000 coins right now. Now imagine if I were in an old place - the silver I could find <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Steve

As long as there are people, there will always be something lost. I use the Explorer II with a Sunray X-1 probe. Don't use the probe every time as the Minelab is a good pinpointer. <IMG SRC="/metal/html/flag.jpg" BORDER=0 width=32 height=17 ALT="usa~"> <IMG SRC="/metal/html/csflag.gif" BORDER=0 width=22 height=15 ALT="::"> <IMG SRC="/metal/html/ml.gif" BORDER=0 width=30 height=15 ALT="m~">

able to move, as I would be so exhausted, sore and stiff! I just don't seem to have the energy like I should or did have!
Hope you are able to keep going & that your heart doesn't give you any more problems!
Also, there had to be a lot of trash, so you must be doing really well since your heart surgery!
God Bless!
Betty

in the 80's more silver was found which is harder to find unless a person's detector goes really deep and they're patient in searching for the deeper treasures!
God Bless & HH!

multiple nap time <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Just hangin around - waiting for Monday to hit it again. I sure was lucky to have fixed my heart before it got far along. God has things for me to do yet ! Steve

hard to find silver around here anymore. When I started years ago I had totals of 120, 60, etc silver per year. Now if I get 6-8 I'm doing well. Steve

so you'll have strength to keep on keepin' on! Yes, God has something for each of us to do, if we'll only be open to His Holy Spirit's guidance and go and do what He says!
Just don't overdo it....save some coins for the next time! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Starting Monday the school kids around here are out for Easter or Spring Break as they prefer to call it! They wouldn't have a holiday, if it wasn't for God and our forefathers who loved and honored Him!
Hope to get out some, but I know from the way I feel, I won't be able to do a whole lot! I tire too easily and then I cannot do anything at all for awhile!
And yet I will try to hit the school grounds & hopefully there will be something for me to find, providing the early birds haven't gotten the worms (treasure) first! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
Good luck & Happy Hunting, hope you find some more good stuff!
God Bless!
Betty
